Are you ready to stumble?

Well we are getting close to tonight's main event... Who will flub first? Both are challenged...Palin is at best non sequitor, Biden caught a 40 foot fish once...what will happen?

After watching Palin in the gubernatorial debates from 2006 (yes, I watched them) I think she is going to be fine. I think some of this is a whole bunch of hype to keep expectations so low so that as long as she gets through the night without a racial slur, then she excelled.

As for Biden, please let him remember to just talk about Obama's positions, that is he is supposed to be advocating for his running mate, and that is all...

So, here is an intersting question - Why would Senator McCain vote for a senate bill that if he is elected President he would veto and make them "famous," why vote for this bill if it is everything that is wrong with Washington,...you don't get to the direct question until 5 minutes into the interview...

Oi vey, time to crack open a bottle of wine (what goes with stunning incompetency?) and watch the show...I am thinking 7 Deadly Zins, it seems appropriate...

Freaky Future Friday Feature

Ummmm....evidently, John McCain already won the debate tonight, the one he wasn't going to come to...Washington Post has the story...who knows, either this is true and someone at that campaign made a MASSIVE premature release error or someone is just talented with their computer...we will see how this plays out as well...question, "will we have the internets on Monday?"
Also, I think this is a nice collaboration of view points piece The Cost of Not Rescuing Wall Street, plus I love the photo...

Unbelievable!

Okay, here is what happened last week (this clip is quite amusing)-

and now, a mad dash resulting in this -

McCain is proposing to suspend his campaign because of the financial crisis? 40 days out from an election and when battleground states are permitting early voting.

Here is Obama's response

Here is the deal a President is required to multitask and there will be times when you are going to be asked to deal with economic issues and figure out a way to explain to Israel how it would be a really, really bad idea to strike Iran - that is the job.

Here is a good summary of today.

I am sure I will be back later to edit and provide more information.

This is better commentary than I could ever provide:
